My passion for words

My passion for words

{ }

I have always loved languages. After having studied French in high school and English at home, I decided while attending university to go all out for English, a language that, today, along with Portuguese, brings me lots of joy. In 1997, I graduated as a certified-sworn translator and, after a short stay in Vancouver, Canada, in 2000, I settled down again in Buenos Aires where I started to study Portuguese in 2003. Destiny and my passion for languages led me to work in an Embassy, where I still apply all of my extensive knowledge and experience. I enjoy translating medical and technical texts, which I usually combine with marketing campaigns, social media posts, and websites as well as sworn translations and legalizations. I am convinced that passion and the thorough study of languages is not enough in times like these, so I continually learn and embrace new technologies. I define myself as a computer-savvy user because I love using new tools and applications not only for translations but also for everyday life. Therefore, no matter how complex or extensive your paperwork, presentation, or manual is, you can count on me to speed up the process so that the translation has the highest quality in the shortest time frame possible.
